Auf OSNews wurde am 04.06 der 10 jährige Geburtstag von BeOS gefeiert. Der Geburtstag wurde an der ersten BeOS Version gemessen (BeOS 0.99).

Eugenia von OSNews hat eine sehr persönliche History über 10 Jahre BeOS geschrieben. Damals wurde die erste BeOS zu Partnern und Developern verschickt, dies war die Version 0.99 (Codename "Shark").
