hm sometime xoops is abit strange.
in xoops not every site of a module have access to the same language file - i dont know why this is so. so the index.php of pd-downloads uses another language file as the singlefile.php for example. or the blocks have a extra language file, because of that you sometimes have such problems.

That worked, thank you. Why wouldn't it have pulled the info from the modinfo file?

hey
try the following thing go the language folder of pd-downloads than in the folder of your language for example english then you will see various files, first open "modinfo.php" and around line 28 you should find this line
define("_MI_PDD_SMNAME4","My Downloads");
copy this file - you will need this in another file. after that open the file "main.php" in the same directory. and insert the copied line right before the first line with define. save, upload and update the module - hopefully it will solve this problem

I'm not sure what changed, but a language variable isn't working. If you look at my site:
www.saeportal.com/modules/PDdownloads/ you will see the menu in the page as: [ Submit Download | _MI_PDD_SMNAME4 | Latest Listings | Popularity | Rating ] But, if you look at the submenu items, it is listed as: | Submit | My Downloads | Popular | Top Rated | So, the _MI_PDD_SMNAME4 is defined and working. Any ideas? Thanks.
