Neue GeForce 6800 Ultra mit 512 MB GDDR III von Aopen

Der Hersteller Aopen kündigt die Aeolus 6800 Ultra DVD512 mit 512 MB Videospeicher an.

Die GPU ist weiterhin mit 400 MHz getaktet und der Speichertakt ist mit 525 MHz um 25 MHz geringer als bei den GeForce Ultras mit 256 MB Videospeicher. Zusätzlich verfügt die Grafikarte über einen HDTV-Encoder.

Da die Aopen-Karte für die PCI-Express-Schnittstelle konzipiert ist, unterstützt die Aeolus 6800 Ultra DVD512 den SLI-Modus, wodurch zwei dieser Grafikkarten verbunden werden können.

An Anschlüssen verfügt die GeForce 6800 Ultra über 2 DVI-Anschlüsse und einen TV-out. Als Zubehör werden zwei DVI-to-VGA-Adapter, ein HDTV-Kabel, ein Handbuch und ein Stromkabel beigelegt.

Software-mäßig werden Spell Force, Arx Fatalis sowie eine CD mit 5-in-1-Demo-Games enthalten sein.

Die Aeolus 6800 Ultra DVD512 soll ab Anfang Mai 2005 für 777 Euro im Handel erhältlich sein.
