DVD's und Stereoquellen
Dank der verschiedenen Eingänge kann man seinen DVD Player zB direkt an das Soundtouch Steuergerät anschließen, zB über ein Coaxial-Kabel, und kann so den klaren Surroundsound von DTS bzw Dolby Digital genießen.

Bei Stereoquellen hat man ja oft die Angst das man dann ein 5.1 Soundsystem hat und es nur Stereo wiedergibt. Bei Logitech nicht, das System kann selbstständig das Stereosignal hochrechnen - je nach Wunsch (siehe Tabelle bei "Das Boxensystem - Soundtouch"), so lassen sich auch Stereoaufnahmen mit richtigen Raumklang genießen.
Fazit

Persönliche Meinung
Das System hat mich voll und ganz überzeugt, die Investition hat sich voll und ganz gelohnt. Es gibt eigentlich keine Kritikpunkte, was auch irgendwie eigenartig ist - den man ist ja gewohnt immer etwas zu finden was einem nicht gefällt. Ich habe mir das System nicht nur aus dem Grund gekauft weil mich der Vorgänger überzeugt hatte in seiner Klangleistung sondern auch wegen den Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Man hat so ein relativ kleines Soundsystem wo man alle wichtigen Geräte anschließen kann und das anständige Soundleistung hat. Es ist günstiger als ein richtiges Home-Cinema-Soundsystem (mit ungefähr den gleichen Eigenschaften) ist aber dennoch nichts schlechter, ich würd sogar soweit gehen und sagen es ist besser. Wenn man das berücksichtigt dann ist der Preis auch nicht wirklich teuer, wobei man auch berücksichtigen sollte dass das System ziemlich im Preis gefallen ist und man es schon um ca 280 € bekommt.
